Adult Training

As an IT instructor, I specialize in adult training, at the college level, at the corporate level and private institutions.  I provide beginning to advanced user level training in M.S. Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), and have taught  FrontPage and Project.  My teaching experience includes  Windows Server 2003 and 2008, networking and A+ hardware and software and basic (X)HTML and intro level Photoshop and Dreamweaver and proprietary software.

Instructional Design

In addition to teaching, I design curriculum coursework,  lesson plans, detailed step-by-step handouts and course materials. I have a long term experience using business applications in the workplace, which expertise I incorporate in my lectures and share with my students. I enjoy the challenge of simplifying complicated information in an easy to comprehend format.

Business Administration & Bookkeeping

I have excellent organizational and administrative skills.  I am familiar with bookkeeping principals and have I working knowledge of QuickBooks. In my work, I look for balance between structure and detail and am aware of the forest as well as the trees.

Translation Work

I am currently enrolled in a translation program in Amsterdam to become certified as a legal and general translator in both directions; English-Dutch and Dutch-English, and I am interested in taking on new translation projects.
